Scope of This Policy This Privacy Policy applies to all investors who have entered into a private profit-sharing arrangement with GoHome Travel (Proprietor: Mohammad Kazi Masum). It explains how your personal and financial information is collected, used, stored, and protected.

Before accepting an investment, GoHome Travel collects and verifies the following personal and financial details from each investor:

Full name and father's name
National Identity Card (NID) number or Passport number
Tax Identification Number (TIN) — mandatory for all investors
Mobile phone number and residential address
Bank name, branch, account number, and account holder name (for profit distribution)
Investment amount and investment date
Signed investment agreement and any related declarations
Source of funds declaration (where applicable)

2. How We Use Your Information

Your personal information is used solely for the following legitimate business purposes:

Profit distribution — to process quarterly profit payments to your bank account
Tax compliance — to deduct withholding tax (WHT) in accordance with the Income Tax Act 2023 and to deposit the deducted amount with the National Board of Revenue (NBR)
Tax documentation — to issue tax deduction certificates (TDS certificates) to you upon request
Investor communication — to send quarterly performance updates, distribution notices, and material policy changes
Record keeping — to maintain proper business and legal records as required by Bangladesh law
Identity verification — to confirm your identity and eligibility before accepting your investment

3. Confidentiality of Your Information

GoHome Travel treats all investor information as strictly confidential. Specifically:

Your personal details, investment amount, and financial records will not be disclosed to any third party without your written consent
Your information will not be sold, rented, or shared for marketing or commercial purposes
GoHome Travel employees and associates are bound by confidentiality obligations

GoHome Travel may disclose investor information only in the following limited circumstances:

As required by Bangladesh law — including reporting to the National Board of Revenue (NBR), Bangladesh Bank, or other regulatory authorities
In response to a valid court order or government directive
To legal or tax advisors engaged by GoHome Travel, subject to professional confidentiality obligations
With your prior written approval

4. Your Confidentiality Obligations

As an investor in GoHome Travel, you are also bound by confidentiality obligations. You agree to keep the following information strictly confidential and not disclose it to any third party without written permission from the Proprietor:

Business strategy and operational plans
Financial performance data, revenue, and cost figures
Customer, supplier, and pricing information
Technology systems, processes, and internal procedures
Business expansion plans

5. Record Keeping

GoHome Travel maintains proper records of all investment-related documentation, including:

Investor identity documents
Investment amounts and dates
Signed investment agreements
Payment receipts and bank transfer confirmations
Quarterly profit review sheets and distribution approval records
Profit distribution payment proofs
Withdrawal requests and final settlement records

Records are maintained in physical or digital form and retained for as long as required by applicable Bangladesh law and business obligations.

6. Data Security

GoHome Travel takes reasonable steps to protect investor information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. All investment transactions of BDT 5,00,000 or more are conducted exclusively through formal bank transfer in accordance with the Income Tax Act 2023, providing an auditable trail for all financial dealings.

7. Death or Legal Incapacity

In the event of the death or legal incapacity of an investor, GoHome Travel will deal exclusively with the legal heir, nominee, or authorized representative under Bangladesh law. Relevant documentation (death certificate, succession certificate, nominee identification, and bank details) will be required. No funds will be released without proper legal verification.

8. Policy Updates

GoHome Travel may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in business practice, legal requirements, or regulatory guidance. Any material change will be communicated to existing investors in writing within 30 days. Continued participation in the investment arrangement constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, including the Income Tax Act 2023 and applicable Bangladesh Bank guidelines and regulations.
